The primary goal of the BMED/IPC SIG is to strengthen the membership and scope of ABCT by providing a forum for researchers and scientists to discuss the use of CBT research and practice to promote health and treat medical problems. The SIG aims to support work from a public health perspective. Moreover, the SIG seeks to provide a forum for networking for behavioral medicine-focused and primary care-based CBT professionals and researchers. Please review our Mission on the "About Us" page for more about our SIG.

Reminders and Announcements!
Stay tuned for when we announce our annual call for poster submissions for the Behavioral Medicine & Integrated Primary Care SIG Poster Exposition, at this year's ABCT 2024 Convention in Philadelphia, PA. As a reminder, all SIG members are welcome and eligible to submit an abstract for the SIG expo.
Please send your poster abstracts (no longer than 1 page) to the BMed/IPC SIG Co-Chairs, at abctbmedipcsig@gmail.com, by  August 9th. All submitted abstracts will be rated by  independent reviewers for scientific rigor and clarity, as well as importance and relevance to behavioral medicine and integrated primary care. We will be accepting the top 12 submissions.

We are also seeking submissions for the following three student awards: Student Travel, Student Poster, and Excellence in Research. Those who self-nominate for the Excellence in Student Research Award must submit a current CV in addition to their abstract. Students who submit for these awards will be expected to attend the SIG meeting, where the award winners will be announced. The award winners will be asked to give brief, 5-minute flash presentation about their study. Past winners cannot be considered for the award but are still welcome to submit an abstract for consideration for the Expo.
